What data do we collect?

NextGen Pants collects the following anonymous data:

• Player position over time.
• Events such as dieing, collecting an item, discovering a room, etc.
• Time spent playing.
• Debug Log information.
• Save game state.

How do we collect your Data?

You directly provide NextGen Pants with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you play our games. The instances we collect the data are the following:

• Defeating a boss.
• Saving and Exiting the game.
• Submitting a Bug or Feature Report.

How will we use your data?

NextGen Pants collects your data so that we can:

• Diagnose issues in Refactor.
• Analyze gameplay to identify bottlenecks and to improve gameplay.

How do we store your data?

NextGen Pants securely stores your data on the third party site, Trello.com

NextGen Pants will keep your gameplay data up to the launch of the game. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data off of the Trello servers.

NextGen Pants would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request NextGen Pants for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
